Justin Prentice P b rJustin Prentice has achieved high level success as a relatively young trainer and this follows his great success as a junior driver and current trainer/driver. Many young trainers can do well with older horses and adjust training methods, but Justin at a relatively young age has defied that by being able to achieve Group 1 victories with young horses that he has secured at yearling sales in Australia and New Zealand, and then taken them onto success in Classics.

In October 2015 Justin Prentice was named RWWA Young Achiever of the Year, this award recognises outstanding contribution to the industry by our younger participants and acknowledges the important role they play in the future success of harness racing.

Justin had an outstanding season in 2015 which included a training quinella in the Group 1 WA Oaks with Major Reality and Quite A Delight, while later in the season, training and driving Bettor Reward in the 3YO Colts and Geldings Westbred Classic.

Major Reality was also awarded 3 Year Old filly of the year.
