This colt was presented at the 2016 Sale in stunning fashion by Debra Lewis and was judged one of the top five colts of the sale.

Background:

He broke in very well for Ron Young an experienced and highly successful educator. Ron also took the horse for his second preparation and Ron’s comments were;This colt named Play The Boys’ third preparation started the third week of September, and he has done so well with preparer Ron Young that he went to trials at Pinjarra Dec 4th and qualified. PLAY THE BOYS –2 yr old Season 2 starts 2 wins – Cant do better than that especially when one win was the $100,000 2 yr old Sales Classic. We now look forward with much excitement to his 3 yr old year! PLAY THE BOYS was a nominee for RWWA 2 Yr Old C & G of the Year 2017

 **On 11 April PLAY THE BOYS stepped out in a heat of the $100k Sales Classics and won sitting in the breeze. History will now show that from barrier 2 in the Sales Classic Final on April 21 driven by Ryan Warwick at Gloucester Park- PLAY THE BOYS– WON!

As a stallion he is doing very well with his colts and  fillies including his most recent USA star being Lady Shadow who in July  won the Meadowlands Golden Girls – with a first quarter in 24.8 and mile rate 1.46.8!
