NUCLEAR POKER won his second race on 29 Jan 2018 – with 2 wins 2 places from 9 starts
Sarah Suvaljko has this gelding that is part of Pacing WA and a 2016 Sale graduate is an athletic colt by then first season sire Auckland Reactor out of mare All In Baby and was her first foal. A leggy but nicely grown horse with a kind temperament and not unlike his sire. Just prior to breaking-in, he required surgical intervention for colic and this put his “program” back a little. The video attached shows that he recovered well, been broken in and is very tractable and doing all that is asked of him.
By the end of season 2017, Auckland Reactor had already sired a Group 1 winning two year old and is officially Australia’s Leading First Crop Stallion for 2017– this is hugely exciting as this colt NUCLEAR POKER early in this 3 yr old year has 1 win and 2 places to date plus Westbred Bonus’ he shows that there is still a lot of development in him, which is good and we now know his sire gets quality winners.
There are some good photos on our Gallery Page showing just how nice going this colt is. Take a look!
